The Jaguars are looking at a possible change at left guard, as veteran Steve Vallos will get snaps in practice along with Eben Britton.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said Wednesday that offensive lineman Steve Vallos would get some work at left guard this week along with Eben Britton, as the team prepares for the Miami Dolphins this upcoming Sunday.

Britton struggled mightily in last Sunday's ugly 17-10 loss at the hands of the New York Jets, getting repeatedly abused by Quinton Coples and Muhammad Wilkerson. Britton had just been re-inserted into the starting lineup due to a hand injury to Mike Brewster, but it's looking like he may be heading right back to the bench. Thanks to his poor performance this season, Britton is unlikely to return to the team in 2013.

Vallos has not started a game since 2009 and has been inactive for Jacksonville the majority of the season. If he does play on Sunday, it will be the lineman's first action with the Jaguars since joining the team back in October.
