They also made several other roster moves, and added three players from the practice squad.

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed defensive end Andre Branch on injured reserve on Tuesday with a groin injury, ending the season for the rookie second-round pick out of Clemson. Branch had 12 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble for the Jags this season. The team also placed running back Jordan Todman on IR. Todman recorded only three carries for eight yards this season.

The Jaguars made a flurry of other roster moves on Tuesday. The team waived wide receiver Quan Cosby and fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou, and promoted linebacker Brandon Marshall, wide receiver Mike Brown, and tight end Isaiah Stanback to the 53-man active roster from the practice squad. The team appears to still have one more open spot available on the active roster.

The Jaguars face the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET at EverBank Field. The Patriots are favored by more than two touchdowns, according to Oddsshark.com.
