Bengals vs. Jaguars score update: Jacksonville trails 3-0 after one quarter

In the first quarter, the Jaguars fell behind, but will begin the second quarter in position to strike back against the Bengals and make up for their 3-0 deficit.

Despite the return of Cameron Bradfield and Eben Britton for Week 4, the Jaguars haven't been able to fully protect Blaine Gabbert, already allowing two first quarter sacks, including one on the first play from scrimmage.

On the Bengals opening possession, the Jaguars were afforded two golden opportunities and were unable to take advantage of either. A Kyle Bosworth interception deep in Cincinnati territory was fumble back to the Bengals despite Bosworth not being touchdown by a Bengals player. A few plays later, Rashean Mathis dropped what appeared to be a clear interception that could have been returned for a touchdown.

A long drive at the end of the first quarter, though, put the Jaguars in position to score and they'll start the second quarter in the red zone.
