2012 NFL All-Pro Roster Includes Maurice Jones-Drew

The Associated Press unveiled the 2012 NFL All-Pro roster on Friday, and to no one's surprise, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew earned a spot on the team. The workhorse led the NFL in rushing yards (1606), attempts (343), and yards per game (100.4), with eight touchdowns, to take home the first All-Pro First-Team honor of his six-year career.

Jones-Drew is the Jags' first First-Team All-Pro selection since defensive back Rashean Mathis earned the honor in 2006. Offensive lineman Tony Boselli is Jacksonville's All-Time leader in All-Pro selections, with three consecutive appearances beginning in 1997.

Joining Jones-Drew in the All-Pro backfield are Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, and Baltimore Ravens fullback Vonta Leach. Rodgers set the league's single-season record for passer rating, so his selection isn't a surprise either.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions and defensive end Jared Allen of the Minnesota Vikings led all players, as each finished just one vote shy of being a unanimous selection.
