The Associated Press unveiled the 2012 NFL All-Pro roster on Friday, and to no one's surprise, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew earned a spot on the team. The workhorse led the NFL in rushing yards (1606), attempts (343), and yards per game (100.4), with eight touchdowns, to take home the first All-Pro First-Team honor of his six-year career.
↵↵Jones-Drew is the Jags' first First-Team All-Pro selection since defensive back Rashean Mathis earned the honor in 2006. Offensive lineman Tony Boselli is Jacksonville's All-Time leader in All-Pro selections, with three consecutive appearances beginning in 1997.
↵↵Joining Jones-Drew in the All-Pro backfield are Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, and Baltimore Ravens fullback Vonta Leach. Rodgers set the league's single-season record for passer rating, so his selection isn't a surprise either.
↵↵Wide receiver Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions and defensive end Jared Allen of the Minnesota Vikings led all players, as each finished just one vote shy of being a unanimous selection.
