The defensive tackle is expected to make a full recovery. What details are emerging from the nightclub where the injury took place?
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton had emergency eye surgery as the result of his involvement in a bar fight at a nightclub. Knighton was at his home on Tuesday where he tweeted that he plans on making a full recovery from the surgery.

Knighton's injuries are serious, but not career threatening. He plans to make several visits to doctors to check on his recovery progress and to make sure that his vision is not compromised because of this injury.
Details are still coming out about the fight that caused his injury. Tony Fleming, Knighton's agent, claims that Knighton suffered the injury while attempting to stop the fight, which involved his friend Tommie Weatherspoon. However, a report from an off-duty police officer who was at the nightclub for extra security claims that both Weatherspoon and Knighton threatened to shoot people in the club, a claim that Fleming denies.
