The Jacksonville Jaguars signed defensive end Matt Roth to a one-year deal late in free agency last season. Roth wound up quickly working his way into the starting lineup and opening up the season as the Jaguars starting defensive end on the left side of the line. Roth played well, starting the first nine games of the season, but it was cut short after suffering a concussion against the Cleveland Browns landing him on injured reserve a few weeks later.
Roth made a visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday however, as the Jaguars don't appear interested in bringing him back.
Steelers keeping busy today. Also hosting a visit with former Jaguars, Dolphns and Browns LB Matt Roth.

Roth finished the season for the Jaguars with 3.5 sacks in nine games and has experience playing both as a down end in a 4-3 and as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, which is likely where he would play for the Steelers.
