Jaguars Offseason 2012: Jacksonville Signs 6th Round Pick Mike Harris

Stay connected for news and updates

Yesterday, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of sixth-round pick Mike Adams on the team's Facebook page. Harris is a cornerback out of Florida State, and the terms of the deal were not disclosed. He is the second draft pick to sign with the Jaguars, in addition to Andre Brach, the second-round pick and defensive end out of Clemson. The team has yet to sign their first-round pick, Justin Blackmon.

Over at Big Cat Country, Adam Stites has more info on Adams:

Harris, 23, was a highly recruited junior college transfer who made an instant impact after joining Florida State in 2010, serving as the primary nickelback. In two seasons with the Seminoles, Harris finished with five interceptions and 99 tackles.

Head coach Mike Mularkey has discussed the possibility of Harris being used in "Wildcat" sets in the future due to his background as a quarterback and his versatility as an athlete.
