A quick guide for Jaguars fans on how to watch the team take on the Giants in week one of preseason play on August 10.
For the first time since the 2011 season ended, Jaguars fans can say it's "game day," albeit at a preseason one. While it is just a preseason game, there is a certain amount of interest and intrigue around the game for Jaguars fans.
In the spotlight is, without a doubt, quarterback Blaine Gabbert. After reports of improvement from the second year quarterback in training camp coupled with criticism from the national media, including criticism from one analyst who heard about it on a very interesting Jaguars radio show, all eyes will be on Gabbert's 17-20 snaps in hopes of evident improvements.
Absent from play will be Maurice Jones-Drew and Justin Blackmon, but new talent such as Andre Branch, Bryan Anger and Laurent Robinson should be on display for Jaguars fans for the first time.
