Will Rackley Injury: Jaguars OL Out Vs. Ravens

Stay connected for news and updates

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Will Rackley will be held out of Thursday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. Rackley is still recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered at the beginning of training camp when a running back rolled up on his ankle.

Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said that Rackley is making progress and could be ready to play in the team's preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons on August 30.

He did a little bit of individual today. He's gradually getting back in. We're going to hold him out of this game as well but I think he'll be back for the fourth preseason game.

Rackley was a third-round draft pick of the Jaguars in 2011 out of Lehigh University. In his rookie season, Rackley played 15 of 16 games and started 14 of them, being a key part of the offensive line that helped running back Maurice Jones-Drew lead the NFL in rushing.
