Jaguars London Series All About Jacksonville

A London-based NFL franchise may still be pretty far away, but British fans of American football will now get to share the Jacksonville Jaguars for one game a year.

The Jaguars committed to a four-year deal, beginning in 2013, to play one game each year in London's Wembley Stadium.

Jaguars owner Shahid Khan was excited about the benefits the agreement would bring to all, especially for the city of Jacksonville.

"There's a huge amount of upside for everybody," Khan said. " I think most importantly the upside here is for Jacksonville and the Jaguars we have a chance to develop a bigger fan base. I see no down side for anybody, huge upside for everybody."

This deal was made possible when the Rams, with the NFL's blessing, pulled out of their three-year commitment to play in London.

There has been no word on which team the Jaguars will face, but Roger Goodell and the NFL will search for an "attractive" match-up.
