Rashad Jennings' injury suffered in the Jacksonville Jaguars season opener against the Minnesota Vikings wasn't considered serious, but it will keep him out of the Week 2 matchup against AFC South rival Houston Texans.
Jennings suffered a knee injury in the first half of the Jags' opener against the Vikings. He carried the ball eight times for 31 yards before leaving with the injury. He was replacing Maurice Jones-Drew as the Jags' starting running back, since Jones-Drew was just returning from his contract holdout the week before.
Jones-Drew finished Week 1 with 19 carries for 77 yards and it's likely he'll see an increased workload with another full week of practice and Jennings on the shelf.
