Stay connected for news and updates

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is set to undergo an MRI on Monday, according to Pro Football Talk. (Via Big Cat Country.) The MRI will evaluate possible hamstring and toe injuries. Gabbert was unable to finish Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, though his injury did not appear serious at the time.

Before suffering the injury, Gabbert was having a rough day -- he finished the game just 7-19 for 53 yards and a touchdown. The Jaguars struggled to get anything going offensively in the 27-7 loss and finished with just 117 total yards.

Chad Henne replaced Gabbert on Sunday and would get the call should Gabbert be forced to miss time. Jacksonville plays the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.
