Jaguars Injury Report: Justin Blackmon In Full Practice Participation

Stay connected for news and updates

The most recent Jaguars injury report shows that rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon is making progress with his ankle injury. On Wednesday, Blackmon just had limited participation in team practices, but he had full practice participation on Thursday.

That's obviously good news for second-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who will need all of the weapons available to him in the season opener against the Vikings on Sunday. Gabbert is already without his safety net from much of last season in Maurice Jones-Drew, unless Jones-Drew ends up getting the bulk of the carries despite missing preseason camp.

Defensive ends Austen Lane (foot) and George Selvie (knee), and linebacker Daryl Smith (groin) were the only players who did not practice at all on Thursday.
