NFL Picks Week 1, Jaguars Vs. Vikings: Experts Split On Predictions

Experts are split picking between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings for Sunday's game. The Jaguars enter this season with a new head coach in Mike Mularkey, but they are still in a challenging AFC South division with the Houston Texans as the favorite. The Vikings on the other hand are staring up from the bottom of the NFC North, chasing down the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.

12 ESPN experts are split right down the middle between the two teams. Mike Golic and Merril Hoge are among the six experts predicting victory for the Jaguars. Five of eight experts on CBS Sports, including Jason La Canfora, are predicting the Jaguars to beat the Vikings.

On Yahoo! Sports, Mike Silver predicts that the Jaguars will win Sunday afternoon. His companions, Jason Cole and Les Carpenter, picked the other way. It should be noted that all the experts on all three sites predicted the Giants to beat the Cowboys on Wednesday, so take these predictions with a grain of salt.
