Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
The Miami Dolphins have one of the worst passing games in the NFL. Part of this problem lies with their wide receiver corps.
After trading receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears over the offseason, the Dolphins failed to sign their targeted free agents, Pierre Garcon, Reggie Wayne and Laurent Robinson, and did not draft a wide receiver until the seventh round. The one major wide receiver the Dolphins did sign, Chad Johnson, was released from the team after getting into legal trouble.
Offensive coordinator Mike Sherman is waiting for the next wide receiver weapons to step up and become factors in the passing game in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
