Reggie Bush Week 15 Fantasy Update: Dolphins Running Back Has Career Day Against Buffalo

Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush entered Week 15's matchup with the Buffalo Bills looking for his third straight 100 yard rushing game. Bush extended that streak, and much more, adding an extra 100 yards to finish with 203 yards on 25 carries against the Bills.

A huge chunk came on a one play, 76 yard drive where Bush darted up the middle to go the distance on Miami's longest play of the season. In the air, he added one catch for just 6 yards but the touchdown run was a huge boost to an already successful day for his fantasy owners. He did lose one fumble in the first quarter, but that was the only blemish of a huge day for the Dolphins running back.

Brandon Marshall Week 15 Fantasy Update: 65 Yard Touchdown Boosts Brandon Marshall's Fantasy Performance In Buffalo

The Miami Dolphins won their fifth game of the season on Sunday afternoon in Buffalo. A huge part of the win were the two longest plays of the season in the second half, which gave the Dolphins a three score lead. The first big play was a 65 yard touchdown pass from Matt Moore to Brandon Marshall. The Miami wideout caught the perfectly placed ball and fought off the Buffalo secondary to streak down the right sideline for the score.

Marshall finished with three catches for 84 yards, with a huge chuck obviously coming on the big touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Marshall had an opportunity to have an even bigger day for his fantasy owners, but he dropped two balls in the end zone in the first half which forced the Fins to settle for two field goals. In addition to the two drops, Marshall also lost a fumble against the Bills. But his ability to strike quickly with the big play redeemed his fantasy performance on Sunday.

Dolphins Vs. Bills: Miami Holds On For 30-23 Win Over Buffalo

The Miami Dolphins held on to defeat the Buffalo Bills 30-23 Sunday afternoon at Ralph Wilson Stadium. After a relatively quiet third quarter, a flurry of big plays and touchdowns lit up the scoreboard in the fourth. The Dolphins were buoyed in the second half by the two biggest plays of the season thus far, a 65 yard touchdown pass from Matt Moore to Brandon Marshall and a 76 yard touchdown run by Reggie Bush. Bush had 203 yards rushing - the most productive day for a Miami running back since 2002.

The Bush touchdown gave Miami a 30-13 lead with a little less than six minutes remaining. Buffalo, however, would quickly respond with a 67 yard touchdown drive that last just over three minutes. Ryan Fitzpatrick found Derek Hagan to cut Miami's lead to 30-20. The Bills would recover the ensuing onside kick on a ball that bounced several times. Their drive would stall on the 17 yard line, and Dave Rayner would connect from 34 yards to make it a one score game.

Rayner's second onside attempt, however, would land in the arms of Miami. The Fins would run the clock out and escape Buffalo with the 30-23 win, improving to 5-9.

Dolphins Vs. Bills Score Update: Reggie Bush Surpasses 200 Yard Mark With 76 Yard Touchdown Run

The Miami Dolphins instantly responded to a fourth quarter Buffalo touchdown on Sunday when Reggie Bush broke a run for 76 yards to give the Fins a 30-13 lead. Bush will not only break the 100 plus yard mark for the third straight week, but will actually eclipse the 200 yard mark. He has 25 carries for 203 yards, and the 76 yard score was the longest play of the season for Miami, just passing Brandon Marshall's 65 yard touchdown a quarter earlier.

Bush's 203 yard day is the most productive outing for a Miami running back since Ricky Williams rushed for 216 yards in 2002. He was flagged for going to the ground in celebration. An animated gif of the celebration is below:

The Buffalo Bills tried to make it interesting in the fourth, as they cut Miami's lead to ten points on CJ Spiller's second touchdown of the day. Kevin Burnett would pick off their two point conversion attempt to keep it a two score game. That wouldn't last long, however, as the Bush touchdown would quickly respond on the next play.

Dolphins Vs. Bills Score Update: Matt Moore Bomb To Brandon Marshall Gives Miami 13 Point Lead

The Miami Dolphins took a 20-7 lead early in the third quarter on huge pass from Matt Moore to Brandon Marshall. On their first pass play of 50 or more yards this season, Moore hit Marshall for a 65 yard touchdown. After two key drops in the second quarter potentially cost Miami two touchdowns, the Pro Bowl wideout made a fantastic play to haul it in and give Miami the 13 point lead.

The Dolphins have had their way moving the ball on the Bills thus far, but have failed to convert in the red zone. The 65 yard TD boosted Moore's statistics, as he now has 200 plus yards passing on just nine completions. Moore and running back Reggie Bush have been huge for the Fins through the first three quarters. After a frustrating second period where they had to settle for field goals, the quick strike bomb to Marshall immediately set the tone in he 3rd quarter with the Bills trying to hang around.

Dolphins Vs. Bills: Two Dan Carpenter Field Goals Give Miami 13-7 Lead Over Buffalo At Half

The Miami Dolphins took a 13-7 lead over the Buffalo Bills as the two teams headed to the locker room at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday afternoon. After Anthony Fasano scored on the first play of he second quarter, Miami added two Dan Carpenter field goals in the second to take the six point lead. Miami drove deep into the red zone on both occasions but had to settle for three points each time. In both cases, Brandon Marshall had two huge drops and Miami failed to capitalize on golden opportunities to take a two touchdown lead.

Reggie Bush, who's looking for his third straight 100 yard game, broke out in the second quarter and had a huge first half. Bush finished with 81 yards on 15 carries. His fumble in the first, however, led to the Bills only touchdown in the first. Miami's second fumble squandered another huge opportunity at the end of the first half, as Matt Moore had it knocked loose on the 12 yard line.

Miami will take the 6 point lead, but it was certainly a frustrating second quarter full of missed chances to build a big lead.

Dolphins Vs. Bills Score Update: Miami Ties It Up On First Play Of Second Quarter

It didn't take long for the Miami Dolphins to even it up against the Bills. Matt Moore hit Anthony Fasano for a 22 yard touchdown pass on the first play of the second quarter. The touchdown tied it a 7-7 and capped a quick strike, two play drive that took just 14 seconds. The Fins started out with great field position, after Davone Bess returned a Brian Moorman punt 24 yards to set them up inside Buffalo territory.

Just two plays later, Moore lobbed a ball to the right corner of the end zone and hit a wide open Fasano in stride. It was an easy pitch and catch, and a solid response after the Reggie Bush fumble gave Buffalo a lead in the first.

Video of the touchdown to Fasano below:

Dolphins Vs. Bills Score Update: C.J. Spiller Gives Buffalo An Early 7-0 Lead

Playing without Tony Sparano and before a sparse crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium, the Buffalo Bills took a seven point lead in the first quarter of Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins. C.J. Spiller took it in for the Bills, bouncing outside on a 24 yard run that Bills fans would love to see more of around Orchard Park. It was the first time in nine games that Miami gave up a first quarter touchdown.

The touchdown run capped a quick three play, 42 yard drive that was set up by a Miami turnover. Reggie Bush fumbled for the fourth time this season, and the Bills pounced on it at the Miami 42 yard line. Spiller has five carries for 57 yards with five minutes still to play in the first quarter. The Spiller run was one of the few big plays in a relatively uneventful first quarter.

Matt Moore Fantasy Projection: If Healthy, Expect Big Day From Dolphins QB

The Miami Dolphins (4-9) and interim coach Todd Bowles take on the Buffalo Bills (5-8) Sunday, and having his starting quarterback healthy and able to play would certainly boost Bowles' chances of earning a road victory.

Dolphins signal caller Matt Moore had to leave last week's game against the Eagles with what was described as a head and neck injury, but reports indicate Moore will start this week against the Bills. Which is good news for fantasy football owners, as Buffalo's defense and season have gone in the tank in the past month and a half. Moore burned the Bills in Week 11, completing 14 of 20 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. The Bills defense ranks 23rd in the league in yards allowed (363.5) and 26th overall in points allowed (26.2).

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Moore as the 21st best option at quarterback this weekend. The Miami QB's projected stats: 17.14/28.85, 201.02 yds, 1.16 TDs, 0.92 INTs for 12.44 points.

For the season, Moore has completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 1,864 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Reggie Bush Fantasy Projection: Dolphins RB Looks For Third Straight 100 Yard Rushing Game

The Miami Dolphins (4-9) travel to Buffalo Sunday to take on the Bills (5-8), with an interim coach and a question of who will start at quarterback, Matt Moore or J.P. Losman. What does this mean for Reggie Bush fantasy football owners? It means start him, and expect big things against a Buffalo team that has seemingly thrown in the towel on the season.

Yes, Bush only had 32 yards on 15 carries in Miami's 35-8 victory over Buffalo in Week 11, but the Dolphins running back did still score a touchdown in that game and added four catches for 32 yards. Bush has rushed for 100 yards in consecutive games for the first time in his career, and has five touchdowns in his past seven games.

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Bush as the 12th best option at running back this weekend. The Miami RB's projected stats: 18.30 car, 73.17 yds, 1.39 rec for 9.54 yds, 0.65 TDs for 12.04 points.

For the season, Bush has rushed 169 times for 770 yards and five touchdowns. He also has caught 40 passes for 264 yards and a score.

Matt Moore Injury Update: Dolphins QB Ready To Start Against Bills

Matt Moore was knocked out of the Dolphins last game with a concussion, and J.P. Losman had to play the rest of the game. Moore returned to the practice field this week, and according to ESPN, it appears that Moore is in line to play against the Bills this weekend. According to ESPN, this was not the firs concussion of Moore's career.

Moore said he had his first concussion last year playing for Carolina. When asked how he felt after being hurt Sunday, he said, "A little banged up, obviously. Feeling good now, and that's the most important thing." Moore ranks 12th in the NFL in passing. In nine starts this year he has 10 touchdown passes and five interceptions.

Moore has been a revelation for the Dolphins this year, and they have been playing their football when he is under center. Having Moore back in the lineup give the Dolphins a much better chance to earn a win against the Bills.

Matt Moore Injury Update: Dolphins QB Misses Practice After Head Injury

During last weekend's game against the Eagles, Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was forced to leave the game early after suffering a hard hit. The initial report at the time was that it was a head and neck injury, and that he'd be evaluated to determine if he'd suffered a concussion.

When the Dolphins started up practices for the week on Wednesday, Moore wasn't on the field. The Dolphins are denying that Moore suffered a concussion, although he seems doubtful for this Sunday's game against the Bills:

Coach Todd Bowles: "No, he has a head and neck injury He's taking tests right now. When he gets back and the training room gets back to me, we'll evaluate that later and I can better tell you at that time."

Moore was on the sidelines for Wednesday's practice, and there is no exact timetable for his return. If he is not ready for this weekend, that backup J.P. Losman is expected to get the start at quarterback. Losman started the season third on the Dolphins' depth chart, but due to injuries to Chadd Henne and now Moore, he could see himself getting some serious playing time.

Buffalo Bills Injury Report, Week 15: Aaron Williams Limited In Practice

The Buffalo Bills hit the practice field to get ready for a critical AFC East match up with the Miami Dolphins. Unlike the Dolphins however, the Bills enter the week of practice relatively healthy. The Bills only had two players who missed practice today. Tight end Scott Chandler missed practice, dealing with an ankle injury. His status for the game at this time is uncertain.

Kicker Dave Rayner also miss practice with a groin injury. Like Chandler, his status at this time for the game on Sunday is unknown, but both will be evaluated later in the week. Cornerback Aaron Williams was also limited in practice, dealing with a calf injury, but he is expected to be available for the game on Sunday.
