Why did the Dolphins trade away their top wide receiver?

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was traded Tuesday afternoon by the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears for a pair of third round draft picks, according to Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer.

The move reunites Marshall with his former Denver Bronco quarterback Jay Cutler in Chicago. The trade is a bit surprising, but Marshall has had difficulties in getting along with coaches and other teammates while in Miami so this is obviously the Dolphins moving in a new direction. Reggie Wayne is one receiver that some have floated out as a target in free agency.
