Dolphins Offseason 2012: Cameron Wake Absent For The Start Of Offseason Work

Stay connected for news and updates

Miami Dolphins linebacker Cameron Wake is absent from the Dolphins facility at the start of offseason workouts according to a tweet by Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

Wake finished the 2011 season with 8.5 sacks. Though it was off his career high of 14 sacks in 2010, Wake has established himself as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.

Wake is most likely looking for a more lucrative contract entering this season. He has recorded 28.5 sacks in three seasons with the Dolphins after being undrafted out of Penn State.
