Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Dolphins haven't bee too active during the 2012 NFL Free Agency period, but that have brought in a couple of veteran players like David Garrard, Gary Guyton, and Tyrell Johnson. They've also signed a former Westminister basketball player to play tight end, according to a report by Sports Illustrated's Tony Pauline.

The 6'4" 238 pound Brown played small forward for Westminister and worked out for NFL Scouts at BYU's Pro Day. With a sprained ankle, Brown ran a 4.44 in the 40-yard dash, measured a 39-inch vertical jump and 10-3 broad jump. He turned the heads of a lot of scouts, especially the Dolphins who have signed Brown to play tight end.
