Former Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has had a 'recent' workout with the Miami Dolphins according to head coach Joe Philbin.
Coach Philbin confirmed that there was a "recent" workout with free agent Chad Ochocinco.

How recent the workout was is not yet known. The idea of bringing in a player like Ochocinco, who has been in the league for11 seasons, could provide some excitement in Miami. There is the question of whether or not he has any ability left.
2011 was undoubtedly Ochocinco's worst season in the league, catching only 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown, a 33-yard reception against the Denver Broncos in Week 15. However, being a more integral part of the Dolphins offense with either veteran quarterbacks David Garrard or Matt Moore could be invigorating to the wide receiver.
