Dolphins Vs. Cowboys Reaction: As Expected, A Bland Finale To The Preseason

The Miami Dolphins fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 30-13, Wednesday in the final preseason game of the season for both teams. With the loss, the Dolphins ended their exhibition schedule without a win. The Cowboys finished 3-1.

Most starters for both teams played only a few snaps -- if at all. Kevin Nogle of SB Nation's Dolphins' blog, The Phinsider, summed up last night's action with one word: "Meh."

Meh.

No, really. That's my reaction to this game. Meh. The Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys embodied the definition of a fourth preseason game. The starters get in for a couple of series, then a bunch of players who could be looking for work in 48 hours get in and try to show the coaches that they should be allowed to stay on the 53-man roster.

Meanwhile, Blogging the Boys, SB Nation's Cowboys' blog, took a similar approach by leading its postgame analysis with, "And now, on to the regular season."
