The Miami Dolphins lost 30-10 to the Houston Texans on Sunday, and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill was not at his best. Several of his passes were tipped at the line of scrimmage, and in discussing the matter after the game, SB Nation's The Phinsider noted that part of the problem was Tannehill's failure to look off defenders:
On two of the deflections, I saw them coming from the stands. Tannehill has to change that. He has to look off defenders, and he has to make sure he is throwing the ball through a passing lane - not directly into a defender's arms.

Two of those deflected passes resulted in interceptions. The Dolphins committed four turnovers on the day, which helped the Texans create some separation on the scoreboard.
