NFL Week 2 Power Rankings: Miami Dolphins Dead Last

Stay connected for news and updates

Miami's Week 1 loss to the Houston Texans didn't dispel any notion for NFL experts out there that the Dolphins are one of the worst teams in football. In SB Nation's latest power rankings, that's exactly where Miami is ranked -- as football's worst team.

Here's what the experts at SB Nation had to say about the Dolphins, as the No. 32 team in the league.

This'll be a dogfight for the No. 32 spot every week. Miami gutted its way into a 30-10 loss and deserves this honor.

It certainly wasn't pretty on Sunday. Rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill was 20-of-36 passing, for 219 yards -- which isn't too bad. However, the other side of that statline -- no touchdowns and three interceptions -- is a lot worse.

Elsewhere in the AFC East, the New England Patriots are ranked No. 2, the Jets are No. 15 and the Bills are No. 20.

Miami will look to climb out of the gutter in Week 2, when they play host to the Oakland Raiders.
