Veteran wide receiver Jabar Gaffney is working out for the Miami Dolphins on Monday, according to a report from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Gaffney spent the 2011 season with the Washington Redskins, where he caught 67 passes for 947 yards and five touchdowns.

The Dolphins are still seeking reliable options at wide receiver; they expected to get some help from Chad Johnson, but the team parted ways with Johnson after he was arrested on domestic assault charges earlier in the preseason.
Gaffney is entering his 11th NFL season, and the Dolphins would be the fifth team that he has played for. He set career highs in both receptions and receiving yards in 2011.
