Miami Dolphins Depth Chart: Not Many Surprises Heading Into Season Opener

Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Dolphins cut their roster down to the league mandated 53 as of last week. Now, as the team prepares to open its 2012 season against the Houston Texans on the road at Reliant Stadium, the depth chart is set with very few surprises, according to blogger Kevin Nogle of The Phinsider:

Looking at the chart, there really aren't any surprises to the depth chart right now, although there may be a disappointment. Starting along side wide receiver Davone Bess is Legedu Naanee, who many fans would rather see the team release. Newcomer Anthony Armstrong is listed as the fifth wide out, while Brian Hartline, who just started practice after missing all of the preseason with a calf injury, is listed as sixth.
