The Dolphins open up their season against the Texans.

The Miami Dolphins are in Houston to play the Texans in Week 1. The Dolphins will be looking for a solid debut from rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who won the starting job in preseason camp. Miami hopes that Tannehill's familiarity with offensive coordinator Mike Sherman will help the offense get off to a faster start than others might expect.

The Texans are more settled on the offensive side of the ball, and they're coming off the first playoff berth in franchise history. But they are not without concerns, as star running back Arian Foster is expected to be a game-time decision thanks to a knee injury.

Kickoff Time: 1 p.m. ET

TV: CBS
