The Miami Heat are currently the betting favorites to win the 2013 NBA Championship, according to sports betting website Bovada. The current odds give the Heat a 9/4 chance of winning the championship. Someone that would want to bet on Heat could get a little more than double their money back if they bet now and the Heat win the championship.
Other teams with the best odds include the Los Angeles Lakers at 11/4 and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 17/4. The Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs all have 16/1 odds.
The longest shot out of all of the teams in the NBA goes to the Charlotte Bobcats, who clock in at 500/1 odds. Other odds for teams in the Southeast Division include the Atlanta Hawks at 75/1, the Orlando Magic at 150/1 and the Washington Wizards at 250/1.
The Miami Heat open the regular season Oct. 30 against the Celtics at American Airlines Arena.
