Miami came out with guns blazing, racing to a 20-10 advantage before the Hawks closed the first on a 9-3 run.
The Heat opened another 10-point lead at 37-27, but the Hawks had enough in the tank to close to three with a Joe Johnson three pointer at the buzzer.
