Hornets Vs. Heat Recap: Miami Puts Six Players In Double Figure, Beats New Orleans 109-95

After a 48-minute war with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat rebounded on Monday night to win their fifth straight game with a 109-95 blowout of the New Orleans Hornets. On the second day of a back-to-back, Miami got contributions from outside the Big Three and pulled away in the second half for a comfortable win. Six Miami players scored in double figures, including Norris Cole and Mike Miller off the bench.

Dwyane Wade scored 18 points in the first half as he continues to attack the rim after two weeks out with an ankle injury. Wade finished with 22 points, a game-high that was matched by LeBron James, who added 11 rebounds for the double-double. As a team, the Heat shot better than 55 percent from the floor and out-rebounded the Hornets by 15.

Miami now heads out on the road to face the Milwaukee Bucks, who were the last team to beat them before this current five-game win streak. They will look to avenge that loss on Wednesday night.
