Indiana Pacers 43, Miami Heat 39, Halftime

The only thing keeping Miami in this game is 22 first half points courtesy of Dwyane Wade. Wade shot eight-of-11 from the field. LeBron James quietly scored six with four rebounds.

Turnovers were Miami’s undoing in the first half, as the Heat coughed it up a total of nine times to only six for Indiana, including four in the first four minutes of the second quarter.

Miami didn’t score until Udonis Haslem put home a Norris Cole miss with 8:30 left in the half. Haslem took to the locker room with six rebounds in just under ten minutes of play. Indiana led by as many as 14 in the quarter, hitting six-of-nine from behind the arc.

Miami closed the gap to six with an eight point run halfway through the second quarter.

Mike Miller hobbled to the locker room with five minutes left in the half after landing awkwardly on his right ankle. Miller missed the first month of the season with an ankle injury.
