The Miami Heat were able to pick up a desperately needed win at Madison Square Garden Sunday afternoon, downing the New York Knicks 93-85.
After holding a slim halftime lead, the Heat were able to control the game for most of the second half, although the Knicks were able to tie the game with eight minutes to play. The Heat then went on a run to put the game away for good.
Carmello Anthony did everything in his power to try and will the Knicks to victory, scoring 42 points while shooting 14-of-27 from the field. Only one other Knick, J.R. Smith was able to reach double figures scoring.
LeBron James was able to overcome a rolled ankel to score a team-high 29 points. Dwyane Wade added 28 while Chris Bosh chimed in with 16.

The Miami Heat are grinding their way toward a much needed win, as they hold a 46-44 lead over the New York Knicks at halftime at Madison Square Garden.
After a hot first quarter where the Heat outscored the Knicks 29-22, New York was able to put the clamps down defensively, taking the lead for a good chunk of the second quarter before a late Heat run allowed them to take the lead back.
LeBron James lead the Heat with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Dwyane Wade is right behind with 15 points. For the Knicks, Carmello Anthony has put in a stellar first half performance, scoring 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting. He will need more help from his teammates if the Knicks want to pull out the win.
