MIAMI, FL - JUNE 09: Ray Allen #20 of the Boston Celtics looks on in the fourth quarter while taking on the Miami Heat in Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2012 NBA Playoffs on June 9, 2012 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The Miami Heat are interested in adding Ray Allen this offseason.
The Miami Heat won the NBA title thanks to the help of a lot of complimentary shooters. LeBron James stole the show, but the three-point shooting of Shane Battier and Mike Miller was a massive factor in their Finals win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Apparently, that's not good enough for the Heat, who want to collect all of the shooters.
Miami will go hard after Ray Allen, but if Lamar Odom gets bought out expect the Heat to pursue him, too

Allen isn't too much more than a pure shooter at this point in his career, and might accept a reasonable contract in an attempt to win another title. His value to any team is obvious, but Lamar Odom might be a bit more of a gamble for some teams. He struggled this season, and any interested teams will want to make sure that he has cleared up the health and personal issues that have affected him recently.
