The NBA schedule for the 2012-13 season will be released for the Heat and the rest of the NBA on Thursday night.

The Miami Heat had little trouble with their slate of regular season games, earning the No. 2 seed for the playoffs en route to the team's first NBA Championship with LeBron James as part of the team. A similar run through the 2012-13 schedule is expected for the Heat that could presumably be an even better team for the 2012-13 season.

The schedule is set to be released live exclusively on NBA TV on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. ET in an hour long special. The special will also highlight the 2012-13 NBA season's best matchups and reveal which teams will play on holiday specials such as Christmas and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The full schedule can also be found on NBA.com with full analysis for every team's schedule on SB Nation.
