Miami Heat Free Agency 2012: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Excited For Thursday

Since becoming the 2012 NBA Champions, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat have had plenty to be excited about. But the pair are particularly excited about Thursday and have taken to Twitter to tell everyone. That's because Thursday is the day when Ray Allen will visit the Heat on his free agency tour.

The Heat will likely have competition for Allen as the 36-year old shooting guard is set to head out to the West Coast to visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and the Boston Celtics are also reportedly interested in trying to hang on to the 10-time All-Star.

James and Wade will likely have to help the Heat to sell Allen on the NBA Champion team as reports indicate that the Clippers and Celtics will be able to pay significantly more for his services. The 2012-13 season would be the 17th for Allen after he averaged 14.2 points per game in the 2011-12 season with the Celtics.
