Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Allen Hurns cracked a bone in his hand in the team's loss to the Virginia Cavaliers. What is his status for Saturday's game against the South Florida Bulls?

Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Allen Hurns was limited in practice on Tuesday because of a hand injury he sustained in the loss against the Virginia Cavaliers. According to head coach Al Golden, Hurns cracked a bone in his thumb blocking on a kickoff return. Hurns believes that the injury occurred on a touchback before Duke Johnson's 95-yard return for a touchdown.

He played the rest of the game with the injury. While he is in a cast right now, he does expect to be fitted for a soft cast later this week. He also expects to play in Saturday's game against the South Florida Bulls:

"Yeah, I'll be out there," Hurns said Tuesday afternoon.

The game between the Bulls and the Hurricanes is scheduled for Saturday with kickoff at 3 p.m.and will be broadcast on Sun Sports. The game will also be streamed live on ESPN3.com. Radio coverage of the game will be provided by 560 WQAM and 1260 Radio Caracol.
