Miami's Brandon McGee has been chosen to play in the 2013 East West Shrine Game. Memphis' Jordan Devey was also added to the roster.
Miami Hurricanes cornerback Brandon McGee has been chosen to play in the 88th East West Shrine Game that will be held on Jan. 19 at Tropicana Park in St. Petersburg, Fla.
McGee, a senior out of Plantation, will be the 44th Hurricane to play in the all-star game. He ranked sixth on the team in tackles this season with 54 and tied for the team lead in interceptions with two. McGee started the last 24 games of his college career at Miami.
Another addition to the game's roster is Memphis Tigers offensive lineman Jordan Devey. The senior was recently named to the 2012 All-Conference USA Football Second Team by the league's coaches. He also received the Tigers' Most Valuable Player Award.
Devey started 24 straight games over his two years at Memphis. In 2012, he started 10 games at left tackle and two at left guard.
In other East West Shrine Game news, the radio network broadcasting the game has expanded to more than 30 markets across the country.
