The Hurricanes ACC schedule opens early against Boston College.

The 2012 season gets started on Saturday for the Miami Hurricanes as the team begins its ACC schedule with a trip to Massachusetts to play Boston College. The former Big East rivals will take aim at each other in the opening weekend.

Game time: 1 p.m. ET

TV: ABC/ESPN2

Location: Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Both Miami and Boston College were picked to finish fifth in their respective ACC divisions by a poll of media members.

Atop the depth chart at quarterback for Miami is junior Stephen Morris. After starting four games as a freshman, Morris did not play much as a sophomore for Miami. He has thrown for 1,523 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his career.

After facing the Eagles, the Hurricanes will not play another ACC team until Sept. 22, when they travel to Georgia Tech.
