With Ozzie Guillen out of the picture, the Miami Marlins must now begin the search for a new manager. Mike Berardino of the Sun Sentinel has given readers a quick preview of four candidates:

Mike Redmond spent 12 years in the Marlins organization, and currently serves as the Blue Jays' Class A manager.

Tim Wallach was named Pacific Coast League manager of the year in 2009, and he has coaching experience at the major league level.

Brad Ausmus had a very successful playing career as a Gold Glove-winning catcher, and he just managed Team Israel last month in the World Baseball Classic qualifier.

Luis Gonzalez is perhaps the biggest name of the four. He is a well-known World Series hero (from 2001), and hit 354 career home runs.

What do the four have in common? Berardino seems to think that the Marlins will want a candidate who is mild-mannered and well-respected around baseball. The next manager will be owner Jeffrey Loria's fifth since 2010.
