Ozzie Guillen is back in Florida on Tuesday to be part of a press conference where he will explain his comments about Fidel Castro in a recent interview. The comments have not gone over well in miami which has a very high population of people who have previously escaped Castro's tyrannical dictatorship in Cuba before defecting to Miami. He has already been suspended for five games by the Marlins. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
The press conference will be showed live during Sportscenter on ESPN and on ESPN.com. Protestors have already started assembling outside of the stadium in Miami asking for Guillen to be fired immediately. Guillen has not handled media availability well over the past few years, and it will be interesting to see what he does during this press conference. Here is an update on the crowd from SB Nation's Amy K. Nelson.
Crowd is growing & loud outside & people from mayor's office just showed up late, asking to get in. It's escalating...#ozzie
