Nationals Vs. Marlins Final Score: Miami Wins 5-3, Sweeps Nats

The Miami Marlins have been on a hot streak and kept it going on Wednesday night against the Washington Nations, completing the sweep in a 5-3 victory. The Marlins took an early lead on Washington 1-0 in the first inning on a Giancarlo Stanton single. Washington was able to tie the game in the next inning and even took a 3-1 lead, but Miami quickly tied the game in the bottom of the fourth.

The Marlins took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning and capped it off with a Giancarlo Stanton home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to seal the game and complete the sweep. Josh Johnson picked up the victory improving his season record to 3-3 and his lifetime record against the Nats still perfect.

Miami has now won five of their last six games and get ready for a three-game road series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
