Stay connected for news and updates

Last night, the Miami Marlins topped the San Diego Padres in 12 innings by a score of 9-8. Through four innings on Saturday at Petco Park, it's been a quieter affair with just six combined hits. The Marlins lead the Padres by a score of 1-0.

Miami's lone run came in the top of the fourth inning after a two-out double from Omar Infante scored Austin Kearns.

Mark Buehrle took the hill tonight for the Marlins, and through four innings, has given up just one hit, one walk and no runs.
