The Marlins will look to shut down the streaking Cubs in game one of a three-game series on Tuesday.

With four consecutive wins, the Chicago Cubs are making a noise in a season where they have been silent otherwise. The winning streak has gotten the Cubs over the .400 mark after entering the All-Star Break with a 33-52 record.

The Marlins are also on the upswing, though, after splitting a four-game series with the National League's best team, the Washington Nationals. Success in a three-game series against the Cubs could be enough to get the Marlins above the .500 mark once again as the team has a long way to go to climb back into playoff contention.

Starting in game one on Tuesday for the Marlins on the mound will be Anibal Sanchez, who has yet to earn a decision in July. In his last start, Sanchez allowed five hits and two runs through six innings to the Cardinals.

He'll face off against Travis Wood who has won four consecutive starts after starting winless in his first six. In his last outing, Wood held the Mets to five hits and two earned runs in six innings to boost his record to 4-3.

The first pitch at Wrigley Field will be thrown at 8:05 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports Florida and CSN-Chicago.
