Marlins Vs. Cardinals: Miami Marches On Without Giancarlo Stanton

Stay connected for news and updates

On Saturday, slugger Giancarlo Stanton returned to the Miami Marlins lineup. Two innings later, Stanton had tweaked his right knee, and now will require arthroscopic surgery knocking him out of the Marlins lineup for at least the next month. Miami begins life without Stanton on Sunday when they look to knock off the Cardinals and win their final series before the All-Star break.
