Marlins Vs. Nationals: Struggling Ricky Nolasco Squares Off Against NL East Leaders

The Miami Marlins (49-59) will need to quickly shake off a tough loss Saturday night when they take the field against Stephen Strasburg and the Washington Nationals (64-43) on Sunday. Miami allowed Washington to score six times in the eighth inning, turning a 6-4 late inning advantage into a painful 10-7 loss. Now the Marlins must square off against a pitcher that has owned them in his young career.

Strasburg (11-5, 3.12 ERA) currently holds a 21-inning scoreless streak against Miami, and in six career starts against the Marlins is 3-1 with a 1.83 ERA. He will be opposed by Ricky Nolasco (8-10, 4.90 ERA), who has struggled mightily of late for Miami. Nolasco is 0-4 with a 7.48 ERA in his last four starts.

First pitch is scheduled for Sunday at 1:35 p.m. EST, from Nationals Park.
