The Reds squeaked out a 5-4 win over the Marlins in 11 innings.

Ryan Ludwick hit the game winning single in the 11th inning to push the Cincinnati Reds past the Miami Marlins, 5-4. The Reds were able to put together 17 hits against a Marlins pitching staff that sent nine pitchers to the mound on Sunday. Ludwick, Dioner Navarro, and Didi Gregorious had three hits each for the Reds. Mat Latos struck out eight over 7-2/3 innings, and Jonathan Broxton earned the save.

Ricky Nolasco scattered 10 hits over five innings, but only surrendered three runs to a lively Cincinnati lineup. The eight relievers that followed him surrendered a combined seven hits and two earned runs over six innings. Jose Reyes had three hits and knocked in a run, and Greg Dobbs had a two run triple.

The Marlins begin a three game series with the Atlanta Braves on Monday, while the Reds have Monday off before going to Chicago for a three game set against the Cubs.
