The Marlins open up a series against Atlanta on Monday.

The Miami Marlins begin a series against the Atlanta Braves on Monday as they look to build on their series win over Cincinnati and close out the regular season in strong fashion.

The Braves are coming off a three-game sweep of the Washington Nationals that helped solidify their playoff position. The Braves are unlikely to catch Washington and win the NL East, but they have a comfortable hold on one of the wild card spots.

The Marlins are scheduled to pitch Wade LeBlanc (2-4, 2.95 ERA), while the Braves are expected to start Tim Hudson (14-6, 3.66) on the mound. LeBlanc, who has also spent time as a reliever in 2012, is coming off a loss in his most recent start.

Monday's Game Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
