The Miami Marlins begin a three-game series with the New York Mets at Citi Field on Friday.
The Miami Marlins are back in action Friday after having the day off Thursday, and they match up with the New York Mets for a three-game series. Miami played the Mets in the first weekend of September and dropped two of three. The Fish will be looking for different results starting Friday.
The Marlins are coming off a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves in which they won just one game. Before that, the Marlins were successful against the National League Central Division leaders Cincinnati Reds last weekend, taking two out of three.
Jacob Turner (2-3, 5.20 ERA) will get the start for the Marlins on Friday. Jonathon Niese (11-9, 3.46 ERA) will start for the Mets.
