The Miami Marlins are without their best hitter again on Tuesday night, as Giancarlo Stanton is not in the starting lineup.

Stanton has not appeared in a game since Sept. 16, and is unlikely to appear in Miami's series against the Atlanta Braves. The slugger is dealing with an oblique injury, and hopes to return this weekend.

Both Ozzie Guillen and former Marlins skipper Fredi Gonzalez have announced the starting lineups for Tuesday's game, and they are as follows:

Miami's offense will have to face off against baseball's hottest pitcher, Kris Medlen. In 82⅓ innings since the All-Star break, Medlen is 8-0 with a 0.77 ERA. In that span, Medlen has held opposing hitters to a .192 average, while striking out 83 and walking just 13.
