Rockets vs. Magic final score: Orlando falls in preseason finale, 108-92

The Magic lost their preseason finale against the Rockets, 108-92.

In the final preseason game for the Magic, they were unable to make up a 14-point halftime deficit to the Rockets and lost by a 108-92 score.

The Magic outscored the Rockets in the fourth quarter as both DeQuan Jones and E'Twaun Moore scored a combined 34 points as they predominantly saw time during the second half. Among the Magic starters, Glen Davis led the team with 12 points, all in the first half, while Nikola Vucevic recorded 14 first half rebounds.

For the Rockets, Greg Smith led the team with 15 points and was one of six Houston players to tally double-digit points in the game. Big offseason addition Jeremy Lin added 13 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Omer Asik only added six points for the Rockets, but led the team with 12 rebounds.

Orlando finished the preseason with a 2-6 record and a 2-2 record at home, while the Rockets finished with a 5-2 record and 2-1 record on the road.
