Stay connected for news and updates

James Jones of the Miami Heat will take on a field of five others in the 2012 NBA Three-Point Shootout on All-Star Saturday night from Amway Arena in Orlando. Jones won the competition last year, and will now take on a field of five others than include two other Floridians.

Ryan Anderson of the Orlando Magic will be the hometown favorite after putting together a season where he is shooting 43 percent from three-point range. Jones' teammate, Mario Chalmers, will also be participating in the competition. The other three participants are Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Morrow of the New Jersey Nets and Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant replaced Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, who had to pull out with an injury.
